About the Artist

Lucky Void Project

Lucky Void, an independent, artist- and veteran-led project devoted to producing original, uncompromising work that speaks directly to the warfighter community. At its core, my work seeks to reclaim and redefine military-adjacent culture by transforming it into something intellectually grounded, artistically rigorous, and unmistakably authentic.

The development of Lucky Void was neither insulated nor conventional. During formal training in art school, I often encountered persistent criticism and, at times, social and institutional friction, stemming in part from my identity as both a veteran and a straight male within a space often ideologically at odds with those backgrounds. Evaluations were frequently severe, and peer reception could be openly hostile. Yet these conditions proved formative rather than discouraging. They refined both technical discipline and conceptual clarity, instilling a precise understanding of what it demands to succeed within and beyond the contemporary art world.

That resilience is inseparable from my military foundation. The discipline of life in the military, it’s demand for endurance, adaptability, and forward momentum under pressure, all became my framework. Where others might withdraw, I advanced; where friction emerged, I turned it into growth. My work is shaped as much by adversity as it is by intention.

Accordingly, I, as  Lucky Void, reject the exhausted “bro veteran” archetype and its superficial aesthetics. Instead, my work advances a deliberate creative rebellion: work that is unvarnished, satirical, and psychologically attentive to the realities of service.its absurdities, its bonds, and its disorienting transitions. The objective is not to perform identity, but to articulate it with precision and honesty.

I make a deliberate choice to remain personally obscured. Who I am or what My identity is not the focal point of this project, nor do I have any interest in personal recognition or “celebrity”. The emphasis belongs to the work and to the community that surrounds it. Lucky Void is not built around who I am, but around what it represents; an idea, a shared experience, and a collective sense of ownership among those who engage with it. Preserving that distance allows the project to retain a certain integrity and, in many ways, a sense of magic that would otherwise be diminished by individual spotlight.

Everything I produce remains entirely independent. Each piece—whether limited-run flags, hand-painted works, or immersive, Military-centered projects, is conceived, produced, and distributed by me alone, without the support of brokers, sponsors, or institutional investors. As a result, timelines are necessarily deliberate; every release reflects a hands-on process sustained through direct community support. Lucky Void is, in every sense, crowd-funded and artist-driven.

Through this work, I aim to establish a distinct aesthetic language, one that honors the weight and texture of lived experience without resorting to posturing. This is art for those who recognize its truths, created by someone who has endured them.
