terms and conditions for Commission work.

By commissioning artwork from Lucky Void Project (the “Artist”), you (the “Client” or “Patron”) agree to these terms:

1. Intellectual Property Rights
The Artist retains all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the commissioned artwork. The Client receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for personal or specified commercial purposes as agreed in the commission details. The Client does not receive ownership or full legal rights to the artwork.

The Client has purchased rights only to that specific work and acquires no rights to any other past or future work by the Artist. Use of any unauthorized Lucky Void Project work is strictly forbidden. The Client has not purchased rights to any Lucky Void products, business works, logo (beyond the commissioned piece), or other intellectual property.

The Artist retains portfolio rights to display, promote, and reproduce the work in portfolios, social media, websites, and promotional materials. The Artist has no commercial rights to the work beyond the commission granted to the Client and any authorized users agreed in writing.

The Lucky Void logo and original characters are proprietary to Lucky Void Project. Their use in commissioned works (including tattoos) is a design choice only and does not imply ownership, affiliation, or endorsement. The Client owns no rights in the logo or characters and may not use them beyond the commissioned piece.

2. No Liability for Client Use
The Artist is not liable for claims, damages, or consequences from the Client’s use of the artwork, including trademark or copyright infringement, defamation, or other issues if it is used improperly, commercially without proper licensing, or in violation of law or third-party rights. The Client is solely responsible for ensuring use complies with all applicable laws.

3. No Affiliation or Endorsement
A commission does not create any affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or association between the Artist or Lucky Void Project (including related pages or accounts) and any brand, organization, individual, company, or entity connected to the Client. The Artist does not endorse the Client’s projects, products, causes, or activities.

Use of the Lucky Void logo or characters does not give the Client any right to affiliate Lucky Void Project with any company, organization, affiliation, or movement.

4. Right to Disavow
Lucky Void Project may disavow, renounce, or terminate any association, license, or ownership connection to the work if the Client, or any related brand, organization, affiliation, or entity, violates these terms or acts in a way that reflects poorly on the Artist or the work.

5. Payment Policy
Payment is due upfront. If a down-payment exception is made, the balance is due in full by the agreed deadline. Failure to pay may result in legal action to recover the amount owed.

6. Refund Policy and Timing
Once the commission has begun and a proof (sketch, draft, or progress image) has been shown, there is a strict no-refund policy. All sales are final after that point.

Turnaround depends on the Artist’s availability and workload. A commission may take an extensive amount of time. Delays, a longer-than-expected schedule, or the Client’s time concerns are not valid grounds for a refund, cancellation, or chargeback. Unless a firm deadline was agreed in writing before payment, no completion date is guaranteed.

7. Revision Policy

All corrections, revisions, and creative decisions are at the Artist’s sole discretion. The Client may request changes. The Artist decides whether a request is accepted, how it is executed, and whether it is a minor alteration or additional paid work.

Progress checks are the Client’s opportunity to raise concerns. If a major correction, directional change, or substantial revision is not brought up during a progress check when the relevant stage is shown, that change is not included in the original fee. Silence during a progress check is treated as approval of the work as shown at that stage.

After final submission, any further alteration is subject to the Artist’s determination of what counts as minor. The Client has 7 calendar days from receipt of the final artwork to request changes. Only alterations the Artist classifies as minor may be made at no extra cost. Examples may include small color tweaks, minor detail changes, or small compositional shifts that do not alter the approved direction. The Artist’s classification is final.

Reconstruction, directional changes, or any tweaks the Artist determines will take more than 2 hours are not minor. Those are not included in the original fee and will cost more, billed as additional work at the Artist’s then-current rate or treated as a new commission requiring a separate agreement and payment.

8. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the deposit or full fee is acceptance of these terms and forms a binding agreement between the Client and Lucky Void Project.

By completing this transaction, you agree to these terms and conditions.
